Hot Dog People

Hot Dog People and Other Bite-Size Sacrifices is the parenting memoir that I authored and illustrated. A collection of essays, haikus, fatherly advice and illustrations cover the usual topics parents can expect within the first six years—childbirth, potty training, the anxiety of starting kindergarten, emergency room visits, pyramid schemes, cannibalism and communicating with the dead. The book inspired my friends in Plasmid to write and record an EP. Which in turn, inspired a lyric video featuring home videos and illustrations from the book.
